Last week, Honor introduced the Magic7 and Magic7 Pro, and now another addition, the Honor Magic7 Lite, has emerged on the Google Play Console. The first focus keyphrase, “Honor Magic7 Lite,” reveals a powerful mid-range device running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, with 12GB of RAM as one configuration, although other memory options may be available.
Interestingly, the Honor Magic 7 Lite may not be entirely new but rather a rebranded version of the recently launched Honor X9c. The model numbers are identical, suggesting the two phones could share similar features. This potential rebranding is further hinted at by the Lite’s screen resolution, confirmed as 1224×2700 in the Play Console listing.
If the Honor Magic 7 Lite mirrors the Honor X9c’s hardware, it could offer a robust camera setup, including a 108 MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a 16 MP front camera. Battery capacity is expected to be 6,600 mAh, with fast 66W wired charging support.
Out of the box, the Honor Magic7 Lite will likely run on Android 14 with Magic OS 8, promising an intuitive and responsive user experience. This release could appeal to consumers looking for premium features in a budget-friendly device.
As more details unfold, the Honor Magic 7 Lite is set to attract attention with its flagship-level specifications, despite its possible rebranding origins.
