Redmi is gearing up for the release of its Redmi Note 14 and Redmi K80 series in China, but the brand is also working on the Redmi Turbo 4, which is expected to launch next year. According to recent reports, the Redmi Turbo 4, bearing the model number 2412DRT0AC, was spotted in the IMEI database. Speculation suggests that this device could be rebranded as the Poco F7 for global markets, including India, with model numbers 2412DPC0AG and 2412DPC0AI, respectively.
While the “2412” numbers hint at a possible December release, it’s more likely that the Redmi Turbo 4 will launch in Q2 2025, with the Poco F7 following a few weeks later. A reliable tipster, Experience More, has revealed that the Turbo 4 will feature a flat display with a 1.5K resolution and a plastic frame, continuing the trend from its predecessor. The same specifications are expected for the Poco F7, as it will be a rebranded model.
Although the chipset powering the Redmi Turbo 4 / Poco F7 remains unknown, there is speculation about whether it will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The previous generation was equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Additionally, the Turbo 4 is rumored to have a super large battery, potentially larger than the 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging found in the Turbo 3. This suggests that the Turbo 4 / Poco F7 may boast a 5,500mAh battery or even larger.
