It’s been over two years since Google launched the original Pixel Buds Pro, and now the much-anticipated Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are set to debut next month. The new Pixel Buds Pro 2 will be available in four stunning colors: Charcoal, Porcelain, Aloe (to match the Pixel 8a), and Hot Pink (complementing the new Pink Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro).
The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 case will feature a slightly bulkier design, though it retains the familiar LED light at the center front. Unlike the new Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Google has chosen to keep the Buds Pro 2 stemless, enhancing comfort and style.
Noteworthy changes include a more prominent grill on each earbud, likely improving Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency modes. The reintroduced wing design has been refined for better comfort, addressing previous user feedback.
Given the original Pixel Buds Pro launched in July 2022, this upgrade is timely. While specific audio enhancements remain under wraps, expectations are high for superior sound quality and improved battery life. The current Pixel Buds Pro offer up to 31 hours with the case and ANC off or 20 hours with ANC on. The upcoming launch will reveal more about these promising upgrades.
Stay tuned as Google prepares to unveil the new Buds Pro 2 alongside other exciting Pixel products in the coming weeks.
