Xiaomi is set to unveil the global version of its highly anticipated Mix Flip, with new details emerging about its RAM, storage options, and color variants. According to recent reports, the Xiaomi Mix Flip will soon make its debut outside China, following its initial launch of the Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip in the Chinese market.
Xiaomi Mix Flip Global RAM and Storage Options
The global variant of the Xiaomi Mix Flip will offer impressive RAM and storage configurations. Buyers can choose between 12 GB and 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM, coupled with UFS 4.0 storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. These storage options come with virtual RAM expansion capabilities of 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB.
Color Variants and Special Editions
The Mix Flip will be available in three primary colors: black, white, and purple, all featuring Panda-X glass. Additionally, a special edition of the device will be available with a Xiaomi Nylon Fiber finish, incorporating a fiberglass substrate and a nylon outer layer.
Xiaomi Mix Flip Key Specifications
The Xiaomi Mix Flip boasts a 6.86-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1224 x 2912 pixels, alongside a 4-inch external AMOLED screen with 1392 x 1208 pixels. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate. It features an aluminium frame and stainless-steel hinge for durability.
The device is equipped with a 32-megapixel OmniVision front camera and a rear dual-camera system, including a 50-megapixel OmniVision OVX8000 Leica-engineered primary camera and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV60A telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The Xiaomi Mix Flip runs on Android 14 with the HyperOS UI.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the phone includes a 4,780mAh battery with 67W rapid charging and a side-facing fingerprint scanner for added security. While the exact price for the global edition is not yet confirmed, the device starts at 5,999 Yuan (~$836) in China.
