Vivo S19 and S19 Pro have arrived, bringing cutting-edge photography and impressive battery technology. The Pro model offers enhanced processing power and an additional camera, but the standard model has its own charm.
Impressive Battery and Design
The Vivo S19 features a slim 7.19mm profile and weighs 193g. Despite its slender build, it houses a 6,000mAh battery, made possible by Vivo’s Blue Ocean tech. This technology achieves an energy density of 809Wh/L, making the battery 16.6% smaller than conventional 6,000mAh batteries. The battery supports 80W wired fast charging.
Display and Performance
The Vivo S19 boasts a 6.78” display with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels (20:9 ratio). This 10-bit 120Hz OLED panel delivers peak brightness of 4,500 nits and features a flat design. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage. The base model uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, while higher variants feature LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1.
Camera Excellence
The Vivo S19 is equipped with a 50MP f/2.0 front camera, integrated into the display via a punch hole. On the back, it has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.88 lens and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
Vivo S19 Pro Enhancements
The S19 Pro, slightly thicker at 7.58mm and a gram lighter at 192g, includes additional features. It uses the Dimensity 9200+ chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage, all equipped with LPDDR5X and UFS 3.1 chips.
Pro Display and Camera System
Similar to the S19, the Pro version has a 6.78” 10-bit 120Hz OLED display with 1,260 x 2,800 pixels resolution, but with curved sides. The front camera remains the same 50MP module. However, the rear camera system is enhanced with a 50MP main camera using the Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and 4x lossless zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
Durability and Availability
Both models are engineered for durability, with the Pro model boasting IP68 and IP69 ratings for water resistance. The Vivo S19 and S19 Pro are now available in China through Vivo’s online store and partners. International availability has not yet been announced.
