The nova Flip features a waterdrop hinge mechanism, which has passed rigorous testing by SGS Switzerland and is rated for 1.2 million bends. When unfolded, the device measures a mere 6.88mm in thickness and weighs just 195 grams, making it both sleek and lightweight.

The exterior of the nova Flip includes a square 2.14-inch OLED cover display, conveniently located next to the dual cameras. This cover display serves multiple purposes: it acts as a viewfinder for the main camera and supports first-party apps such as weather, music, and calendar.
